Drummer Live performance

Probably the most important part of the DVD. Our strapline for Gigmeister is "Don't just learn it, NAIL it". You can see this in the banner at the top on this page.

If you are practicing without a band, the atmosphere and feel of playing live is what's missing. If you have music and a helpful screenshot available you tend to lean on them a bit too much. So when you choose to play live, you don't get anything. Just the video from our gig and the backing track.

Play With The Band

So get it as good as you can using the Instrument Panel, then choose to play with the band. This fires up the video and the full band backing track including the existing Drum track.

Play In The Band

When you're ready, choose to play in the band. This is the ultimate opportunity to really develop your own style within the song. You replace the Drummer in the backing track

If you can play it better, feel free. Want to add a variation of your own? Fine. The band will always accomodate you.

You are praticing for a live performance. DON'T HOLD BACK. Let it flow. Visualise being on stage but remember to visualise looking out at the crowd, rather than in from the crowd.

If you want to be confident you can reproduce your performance on stage, make sure you give it everything you have during the practice session.

You don't have to be part of a band to enjoy this DVD. But we went to a lot of trouble to provide you with everything you need to produce a top quality performance. Don't just learn it. NAIL it!
